Seattle Mariners

The Seattle Mariners nicknamed the “M’s”, play Major League Baseball (MLB) in the National League (NL) West Division. The team joined the AL as an expansion team in 1977. It took 14 yrs to field a winning team and until 1995 to win their first division championship. They have had 27 losing seasons out of 40. The Mariners are one of 8 MLB teams who have never won a World Series championship and one of two along with the Washington Senators to never play in a World Series.
