Philadelphia Phillies – National League East
The Philadelphia Phillies play Major League Baseball (MLB) in the National League (NL) East Division. The franchise was started in 1883 and is the longest continuous named franchise in professional sports. They experienced a 77-year World Series drought and have lost more games than any other team in American sports history. They finally won the World Series in 1980 and again in 2008. Since the 1976 season they have won 11 divisional titles including 5 in a row from 2007 to 2011 and 5 NL pennants. Through the Phillies ups and downs they enjoy unwavering support from some of the best fans in all of baseball.
The Phillies play in a state-of-the-art facility, Citizens Bank Park in South Philadelphia. It opened in 2004 and is rated one of the best in the country. The open concourse offer a 360 degree game viewing opportunity and from the outfield enjoy a scenic city view. The Diamond Club and Hall of Fame Club and the 70 EMC Suites provide top notch food and beverage service while you watch the game. To be close to field the Infield and Baseline seats are the best but the Club and Terrace level are a great value and lots of fun as well.
