Mississippi State Bulldogs – (SEC) Southeastern Conference
The Mississippi State Bulldogs football team plays in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Western Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Mississippi State has played in 20bowl games with 12 wins. The Bulldogs have produced 38 All-Americans, 171 All-SEC selections, and 124 NFL players, including 11 first-round draft picks. Ole Miss, LSU, Kentucky and Alabama are the chief rivalries with the Battle of the Golden Egg Ole Miss game being the highlight of the season.
The Bulldogs play their home games at Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field, the second oldest football stadium in NCAA Division I FBS. It was built in 1914 and the stadium seats 61,337. The best seats are in the Sky Box seats, the State Level Loges and the Gideon and Scoreboard Clubs. The lower Bowl is huge with all the seats having great sidelines.
