Kansas Jayhawks

The Kansas Jayhawks play in the Football Bowl Division Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association in the Big 12 Conference.  The program began in 1890, making it one of the earlier football programs in the United States. Ku has won almost 600 games and has appeared in 12 bowl games. They have produced 11 All Americans and many NFL players. Main rivalries are with Missouri, Kansas State and Nebraska.

The Kansas Jayhawks play home games at Memorial Stadium in Lawrence KS. The stadium which opened in 1921 seats 50,071 fans. It is the 7th oldest college football stadium in the nation. It is a historic and scenic stadium with plenty of tailgating prior to kickoff. Lawrence itself is a great college town so if your going to a game check it out.
