The Georgia Bulldogs football team plays in the Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and the Eastern Division of the Southeastern Conference (SEC). Georgia’s first season was in 1892. They are one of the most successful programs in NCAA history claiming 5 national championships (1927, 1942, 1946, 1968 and 1980, 14 conference championships, including 12 SEC championships. They have appeared in 52 bowl games which is the 5th most all time in NCAA history. The program has produced 2 Heisman Trophy winners, 4 number 1 National Football League (NFL) draft picks, almost 70 All Americans and more them 50 NFL players.
The Georgia Bulldog football team play their home games at the historic Sanford Stadium on the university’s Athens, Georgia, campus. Bulldog fans are rabid, tailgates legendary and the fun endless. The Dawg Walk and the ringing of the chapel bells after each victory are some of this program rich traditions. Premium seating is in the Sanford Stadium Sky Suites, Campions Club and Sky Club. South and North End Club seats and East upper and lower clubs are great also. Any lower and upper bowls will offer you the best college football has to offer.
