Detroit Tigers – American League Central
The Detroit Tigers play Major League Baseball (MLB) in the American League (AL) East Division. They are the oldest continuous same name, same city franchise in the AL being established in 1901. They were World Series champions in 1935, 1945, 1968, and 1984. The Tigers have 15 player numbers retired including Ty Cobb who played before numbers were worn. Besides being popular throughout Michigan the Tigers have a strong fan base in Southwest Ontario.
The team currently plays its home games at Comerica Park in Downtown Detroit. From a carousel to a ferris wheel and with a huge lively concourse, Comerica Park offers something for every fan. And with no upper deck outfield seats, no ballpark offers a better view of a downtown skyline than Comerica Park. The Jack Daniels Champions Club and The Motor City Casino Hotel Tigers Club along with The Tiger Den offer premium experiences. The On Deck and Lower Infield Boxes are the best seats in the park to get up close to the action.
