Colorado Rockies – National League West
The Colorado Rockies play Major League Baseball (MLB) in the National League (NL) West Division. The Rockies began play as an expansion team in 1993 and have made the playoffs 3 times since. They won the National League championship in 2007, after having won 21 of their final 22 games in order to secure a Wild Card position. In the World Series, they were swept by Boston Red Sox in four games. They and the Marlins are the only 2 MLB teams to have never won a division title.
The team’s home filed since 1995 is Coors Field named for the Coors brewing company and with Colorado famous for craft beer there is plenty to satisfy the thirstiest of fans. The stadium located in the lower downtown area of Denver offers beautiful views of distant mountains and spectacular sunsets. The high altitude of 1 mile makes for the most hitters friendly ballpark. Enjoy a great experience in the Wells Fargo and Toyota Land Cruiser Clubs and see the game up close from infield club and box seats. Of course, you will be really high in the upper levels but a good time is guaranteed.
