Cleveland Indians – American League Central
The Cleveland Indians play Major League Baseball (MLB) in the American League (AL) Central Division. Established as a major league franchise in 1901, the Indians wo are nicknamed the” Tribe” have won 2 World Series championships in 1920 and 1948, 8 Central Division titles and 6 American League pennants. After appearing in 1997 the Indians finally returned to the Worlds Series in 2016 but lost to the Cubs. With the Cubs winning the Indians and their loyal fans ongoing World Series championship drought is currently the longest in Major League Baseball.
Since 1994, they have played at Progressive Field formally known as Jacobs Field and still called “the Jake” by Indian fans. It’s a beautiful ballpark built to blend into the city and was ranked the best in baseball in 2008. From 1995 to 2001 there were 455 consecutive sellouts. Dugout and team suites are top of the line with Diamond Box and Club and Field Boxes allowing you to sit closer to the action although any seat gives you a great view.
