Boston Red Sox – American League East
The Boston Red Sox play Major League Baseball (MLB) in the American League (AL) East Division. After winning the World Series in 1918 they and their loyal fans endured what became known as “the curse of the Bambino” after they sold the greatest player ever Babe Ruth to the rival New York Yankees. The curse was broken in 2004. They also won the World Series in 2007 and 2013. From May 15, 2003 to April 10, 2013, the Red Sox sold out 820 games straight games which is a major professional sports record.
The Boston Red Sox play home games in historic Fenway Park which was built in 1914. It’s called the “friendly confines” as the stadium seats less than 40,000 and the seats are very close to the field. It features the Green Monster a 30ft wall in left field that is popular for its close to the field seating. If you buy Green Monster tickets bring a glove! Other premium seats include the Legends, Dell Tech, Infinity and Pavilion. Get in the game with Field Box and Reserved Grandstand and be sure to enjoy the great neighborhood atmosphere outside park.
