Los Angeles Dodgers – National League West
The Los Angeles Dodgers play Major League Baseball (MLB) in the National League (NL) West Division. The franchise was based in Brooklyn, NY being founded in 1883. They were a team of firsts. First TV broadcast, first African American player in Jackie Robinson and the first West Coast Major League team moving to LA prior to the 1958 season. The Dodgers have won 6 World Series titles and 21 National League pennants. They have produced 13 MVP Awards, won 12 Cy Young Awards and 17 Rookie of the Year Awards.
